WQA Award Presentation Honours Waterlogic Team For Firewall™ Technology

At the annual WQA Aquatech USA awards in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Water Quality Association awarded Jonathan Ben-David and Heung Soon (Colonel) Kim from Waterlogic China with an international Award of Merit. The prestigious award was given in recognition for their breakthrough in water purification technology through the development of the unique Firewall™ purification system that is used in many Waterlogic water dispensers, plus an increasing number of other products outside of Waterlogic.

On behalf of Jonathan and Colonel, Sergio Leymarie (President & CEO of Waterlogic USA) and Chris Garner (Group Marketing Director of WLI UK Ltd) accepted the international Award of Merit in April 2013 at the WQA awards ceremony in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA.

In presenting the award, the WQA stated:

“Inventors of one of the true breakthroughs in treatment technology, Jonathan and Colonel Kim are pioneers in our industry. They are the inventors of the Firewall – a technology that uses UV purification at the faucet. With it, they have been able to offer some of the highest level of purification ever seen in a device its size. Jonathan is founder of his own business in the United Kingdom. He worked before that for large international companies for many years in senior management positions. Colonel Kim has vast experience in POU design and development. He heads up all the company’s R&D projects and teams. Together, they are helping to move our whole industry into the future.”
