Waterlogic water dispensers now use a natural refrigerant gas called R600a in their compressors, helping with carbon footprint reduction. R600a has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and very low Global Warming Potential (GWP). Furthermore unlike R134a, R600a is non-toxic.
Waterlogic selected R600a refrigerant gas for its eco-friendly ‘green’ gas credentials. It now serves as a functional alternative for numerous chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) or hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) refrigerants such as R134a.
