Jeremy Ben-David profile picture

Jeremy Ben-David Group Chief Executive Officer

Jeremy Ben-David founded the Group in 1992, after identifying the opportunity to realise growth for POU water dispensers in the otherwise bottled cooler-dominated water cooler industry. Jeremy was initially responsible for the UK operations and the creation of Waterlogic UK. Subsequently he spent considerable time developing the international focus of the business and strengthening key global markets. This included the enhancement of the Group’s manufacturing facilities to improve productivity and global supply. As Group Chief Executive Officer, Jeremy is responsible for the overall strategic development of the Group, international business development and key relationship management.

Simon Bolton Chief Executive Officer International

Simon Bolton joined Waterlogic in November 2015 as Group Chief Operating Officer and in November 2016 was appointed as Chief Executive Officer International. His responsibilities include: supporting group growth, developing group operating systems, driving best practices in operations, logistics, supporting M&A, and the management of Group subsidiaries. Prior to joining Waterlogic, Simon has built up significant international experience having worked for both private and public companies, including General Electric and Invensys, in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East at a senior level. Most recently as Chief Operating Officer for a private service business – Oryx Engineering Solutions, Qatar and as Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa for GE Oil & Gas.

Huw Jenkins Group Chief Financial Officer

Huw Jenkins joined the Waterlogic group in May 2016 as Group Chief Financial Officer, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and has a wealth of international experience from corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to Waterlogic, Huw was part of the Marmon Group, where he was the CFO for Marmon Retail Science. Previously he held several senior finance roles including Divisional Financial Director and Head of M&A for IMI Plc. Huw also spent 11 years with Deloitte during his early career.

Mark Taylor Group Chief Commercial Officer

Mark Taylor Joined Waterlogic in November 2016 as Group Chief Commercial Officer. Mark joined the group from Regus plc where he was the Global Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing. Prior to Regus, Mark was at Diageo plc for 18 years where he covered a variety of General Management and Commercial leadership roles in the UK, USA, Canada and Sub-Saharan Africa. Mark has experience in senior leadership roles in multiple geographies ranging from general management, M&A commercial due diligence, category development and customer acquisition. At Waterlogic Mark is accountable for driving the Groups Sales and Marketing agenda with a heavy focus on Digital both in Lead generation and conversion. In addition Mark drives the multiple brand agenda across the various trademarks within the Waterlogic Group and countries, including Purezza and Billi.

Jill Lee-Young Group Legal Director

Jill Lee-Young joined the Legal Department of the Waterlogic Group in February 2006, working with the Executive and Board through the AIM listing in 2011 and the privatisation of the Group in 2015. Jill qualified as an English Solicitor in 1990 having trained at the City firm, Eversheds, specialising in Mergers & Acquisitions. Jill has been Director of the in-house Legal Department for almost 6 years, assisting management on all acquisitions, corporate/ company secretarial, compliance and general commercial matters. Jill has built up additional experience in the areas of employment law, HR functions, employee incentive schemes, IP, insurance and data protection.

Jonathan Ben-David CEO Group Manufacturing and R&D

Jonathan Ben-David has worked for large international companies for many years in senior management positions. Prior to founding his own business in the UK, he worked for Soda Club International (now called Soda Stream and listed on the NASDAQ) as Group Special Projects Manager, tasked with setting up the Group’s international manufacturing facilities, including in the UK and Israel. In 1995, Jonathan set up a manufacturing company specialising in designing and manufacturing medical and laboratory plastics equipment. Initially, it was a sub-contractor for larger medical companies but gradually evolved to design, market and sell its own product ranges to the NHS and major laboratories in the UK. After the successful sale of this business, Jonathan joined the Group in 2004 with the remit to set up and oversee the Group’s Chinese and Korean manufacturing facilities.

Heung Soon (Colonel) Kim Group R&D Director

A South Korean national, having relocated to China with the factory move in 2004, Mr. Kim has been with the Group for nearly 20 years and has vast experience in POU design and development. Colonel has been instrumental in the setting up of Waterlogic China after serving with Waterlogic Korea for more than 10 years. Colonel now heads up all the Group’s R&D projects and teams.

Philippe Barnetche Managing Director, Waterlogic France

Philippe Barnetche has significant commercial and management experience in finance leasing and IT systems integration organisations (including funding and growing a captive leasing subsidiary).

Erik Gulbrandsen Managing Director, Waterlogic Norway

Erik Gulbrandsen joined Waterlogic in April 2011 and brings an excellent sales pedigree combined with senior management positions most notably as Managing Director of ISS washrooms with whom he was employed from 2003 to 2011.

Bob Junk President, Waterlogic Commercial Products (USA)

Prior to joining Waterlogic, Bob Junk had experience in the management consulting industry. Whilst with Waterlogic Bob’s professional management of large accounts led to his promotion to Managing Director of Waterlogic Commercial Products in 2010.

Mattias Källemyr Managing Director, Waterlogic Sweden and Escowa

Mattias Källemyr had previous Managing Director experience with two organisations before joining the Group, each focusing on the business-to-business market. With significant sales and management experience gained in the copier and printer and machinery industries, Mattias joined the Group in 2009 to manage its Swedish operations which consists of two operations, Waterlogic Sweden (a direct sales business with an extensive customer base mainly in the biggest cities in the country) and Escowa AB (which is entirely focused on trade sales).

Carl Crowley Managing Director, Waterlogic Australasia

As Managing Director, Carl is responsible for Waterlogic Australasia and the significant opportunities this market presents. Carl has a very strong business-to-business background, having worked for Chubb Security & Monitoring Solutions (part of the United Technologies Group) as their Australian Managing Director. Prior to his 8 years with Chubb, Carl was National Sales & Operations Manager Coke Vending for 3 years, with Coca Cola Amatil (CCA). This role followed 5 years as General Manager of a New Zealand vending technology company, until that company was acquired by CCA. Earlier roles included working for 3 years with Unilever in New Zealand.

Olaf Wilhelm Managing Director, Waterlogic Germany

Olaf Wilhelm ran a water treatment equipment company, Höcker GmbH, after his earlier career at his father’s laundry equipment and services business. Seeing the market opportunity for POU water dispensers to commercial laundries initially, Höcker GmbH was a distributor for Waterlogic products but then a joint venture was formed in 2001 and Olaf became the Managing Director of Waterlogic GmbH. The German operation became a ‘best practice’ model for the Waterlogic Group as it grew and Olaf was appointed as COO in 2010. Olaf is a qualified mechanical engineer and a certified business economist.

Casey Taylor President, Waterlogic Direct (USA)

Casey Taylor joined Waterlogic in September 2012 as part of the acquisition of Taylor Made Water Systems. His commitment to customer service has been core to his leadership in creating and growing the Taylor Made Water Systems business since 1999 into the largest independent POU dealership on the West Coast. Casey was a practicing attorney before his leadership within the water cooler industry and is active in the California Bar Association.

Robert Moorman Managing Director, Waterlogic Netherlands

Robert Moorman started his bottled watercooler business in 1996 and became an exclusive Waterlogic distributor for the Benelux in the year 2000. The bottle business merged with another company in 2002 and was then sold in 2006. From 2002 onwards, Robert and his team focused their efforts on growing the POU business in the Benelux. In 2006 Watercompany became part of the PHS Group and since then, the business has grown through organic growth and acquisitions. As Managing Director of Watercompany, Robert is responsible for the overall strategy of the company. Since January 2016, Watercompany has been a part of the Waterlogic Group.

Greg Pritchett Managing Director, UK Waterlogic

Greg Pritchett joined Angel Springs in April 2014 as Business Development Director (MD Designate). Prior to this, Greg spent 20 years within the office products sector, predominantly supporting the business-to-business channel, across commercial, procurement, merchandising and management disciplines as Merchandising Director for Corporate Express UK and Staples Advantage UK and Commercial Director, Spicers UK. Following the acquisition of Greenworks and PHS Waterlogic, and to support business growth and succession, Greg was promoted to Deputy Managing Director Waterlogic UK in October 2016 and is now Managing Director.

David Parkes Managing Director, Aqua Cure

David is Aqua Cure’s Managing Director, having had a highly successful career with the NSG-Pilkington Group and the Speedy Hire Group in senior business development and sales leadership roles. As a strong commercial operator, David is instrumental in driving Aqua Cure’s UK and international strategic growth, plus increasing its e-commerce presence.

​Gerardo Álvarez Managing Director, Waterlogic Spain

Gerardo Álvarez has worked in the water cooler industry for nearly two decades during which time he was the managing director of Aguaviva, exclusive partner of Waterlogic in Spain and which was acquired by Waterlogic in 2017. Thanks to his experience and success, Gerardo has continued in his role as managing director for Waterlogic Spain since the acquisition.

Gerardo Álvarez has contributed to set up a pioneeringbusiness model for the HORECA market. He is an enthusiastic professional with a track record of sales and a charismatic leadership, who conveys positivity and a “can do attitude.”

Throughout his education and professional career, Gerardo has acquired an undeniable expertise when it comes to dealing with customers, colleagues and stakeholders. Gerardo has focused on delivering a high standard of customer service and an excellent working atmosphere for his team.
