Compton Hospice held their annual ‘Big Quiz Night’ last week at the Fordhouses Cricket Club in Wolverhampton. The evening was organised by Simon Cater from Compton Hospice in-conjunction with Route 39 and sponsored by ADAS and special guest compare Dicky Dodd from Signal 107 radio who kept everyone entertained with comical jokes and witty banter. There were 21 teams in total of which included 5 teams from Angel Springs Water Coolers the angel teams included ‘Quizteam Aguilera’ lead by Telesales Executive Richard Smith, ‘The Only Way is Google’ lead by Commercial Director John Murphy, ‘The Caravan Club’ lead by Commercial Manager Rachel Jones, ‘The Female Bosses’ lead by Customer Retention Executive Christie James and ‘Quizzie Rascals’ lead by Telesales Team Leader Imogen Jackson.Top prize for the night was £100 House of Frasier Vouchers, with runner up prizes of £60 love to shop vouchers donated by Angel Springs, and a state-of-the-art stereo system. Simon Cater, corporate fundraiser for the hospice commented, “The quiz was a fantastic evening and was again well supported by 21 teams, including 5 from Angel Springs. In total £656.00 was raised towards caring for the patients and their families at the hospice, a big thank you to all who joined us on the night.” Rachel Jones commented ‘It was a really good night and I would highly recommend it. I was not bothered about us winning I just wanted to beat our Directors team which I am glad to say that we did.’ Roll on the rematch!!
