Frank Wrathall is preparing to regain his form as the British Touring Car Championship draws to a close this weekend at the renowned Silverstone Race Circuit, Northamptonshire.
Frank and the Dynojet Race Team hope for further podium success following the recent bad luck incurred at Brands Hatch on October 2nd. The NGTC Toyota Avensis suffered two non-finishes due to suspension problems during the qualifying rounds and was unable to gain points for the remainder of the weekend.
Frank who recently turned 25 had the following comments, “Everyone within the team is determined to make up for last time and put everything into getting it right and finishing the season on a high,” adds Wrathall.
“Fortunately the damage suffered at Brands Hatch was mostly cosmetic and easily fixed, and we have had a good, relaxed time in the workshop getting everything prepared. We will shake the Toyota down at Donington on Thursday and hopefully arrive at Silverstone with everything well prepared and in good shape.”
In his BTCC debut Frank who is sponsored by Angel Springs the UK’s longest established water cooler company has had four podium finishes from six races at Knockhill and Rockingham setting historic milestones along the way.
Looking forward to the season finale at Silverstone Frank said “The Toyota has the potential to go well there,” says Frank, “although I have been caught out before with my predictions – circuits where I have thought we might struggle we have gone well, and vice versa.”
