    Healthy Skin Needs Water

Did you know that water is one of the most natural beautifying elements on the planet? You can spend a fortune on expensive moisturising creams, oils and serums, but at the heart of all the best beauty preparations lies the 'aqua' ingredient: good old water. It is also very interesting to know that your skin is the body's largest organ, so you can increase its health and beauty by taking in as much water as you need internally. In fact, there is little point in spending money on expensive creams to treat the exterior of your skin if you are not hydrating it from the inside. Fill up on glasses and jars of the cold fresh stuff at your office water coolers. Try challenging yourself to enjoy eight glasses of cold, fresh water every day from the mains fed water cooler in your office and you'll really notice a difference. You can also help beautify your skin and keep it looking radiant and glowing by taking in additional water by eating fruit and vegetables. Most of these healthy foods are packed with high water content, as well as plenty of vitamins, minerals and elements, which the human body relies on to stay healthy. Pick the brightest coloured fruits and vegetables and enjoy them raw, blended, juiced or cooked. You'll find that your taste buds rapidly acclimatise and you start to really crave healthy and fresh water-filled foods. Great options include watermelons, berries, grapes, apples and oranges, which are all packed with natural water, as well as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers and salads, which are again made primarily from water, vitamins and minerals, with plenty of fibre thrown in. These foods, along with plenty of water, will keep you looking and feeling great – and, unlike cosmetics, they will not set you back a small fortune!
