Jeremy Ben-David, co-founded the Group in 1992, after identifying the opportunity for growth for POU water dispensers in the otherwise bottled cooler-dominated water cooler industry at that time. After seven years of managing the Group’s UK operations, securing several key contracts and following the sale of the Group’s UK business to PHS and the signing of a long-term procurement agreement, Mr. Ben-David focused his efforts on securing the international expansion of the Group and the enhancement of its manufacturing facilities. As Group Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ben-David is responsible for the overall strategic development of the Group, international business development and key relationship management. Mr. Ben-David studied Economics and Business at Tel-Aviv University and achieved a MBA from INSEAD.
Mark Taylor joined Waterlogic in November 2016 as Group Chief Commercial Officer. Mark joined the group from Regus plc where he was the Global Senior Vice President for Sales and Marketing, charged with transforming the commercial operating model of the company as it continued its ambition to be a FTSE 100 company. Prior to Regus, Mark was at Diageo plc for 18 years, during which time he lived and worked in the UK, the USA, Canada and Africa completing a variety of senior leadership roles ranging from general management, M&A commercial due diligence, category development and customer acquisition.
Simon Bolton joined Waterlogic in November 2015 as Group Chief Operating Officer and in November 2016 was appointed as Chief Executive Officer International. His responsibilities include: supporting group growth, developing group operating systems, driving best practices in operations, logistics, supporting M&A, and the management of Group subsidiaries. Prior to joining Waterlogic, Simon has built up significant international experience having worked for both private and public companies, including General Electric and Invensys, in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East at a senior level. Most recently as Chief Operating Officer for a private service business – Oryx Engineering Solutions, Qatar and as Regional General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa for GE Oil & Gas.
Huw Jenkins joined the Waterlogic group in May 2016 as Group Chief Financial Officer. Huw is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, plus has a wealth of international experience from corporate finance and Mergers & Acquisitions. Prior to Waterlogic, Huw was part of the Marmon Group, where he was the CFO for Marmon Retail Science and prior to that he held several senior finance roles including Divisional Financial Director Roles and Head of M&A for IMI Plc. Mr Jenkins also spent 11 years with Deloitte during his early career.
Jonathan Ben-David has worked for large international companies for many years in senior management positions. Prior to founding his own business in the UK, he worked for Soda Club International (now called Soda Stream and listed on the NASDAQ) as Group Special Projects Manager, tasked with setting up the Group’s international manufacturing facilities, including in the UK and Israel. In 1995, Mr. Ben-David set up a manufacturing company specializing in designing and manufacturing medical and laboratory plastics equipment. Initially, it was a sub-contractor for larger medical companies but gradually evolved to design, market and sell its own product ranges to the NHS and major laboratories in the UK. After the successful sale of this business, Mr. Ben-David joined the Group in 2004 with the remit to set up and oversee the Group’s Chinese and Korean manufacturing facilities. He is currently the Group’s CEO of Manufacturing and R&D. Jonathan Ben-David is the brother of Jeremy Ben-David, the Group Chief Executive Officer.
A South Korean national, having relocated to China with the factory move in 2004, Mr. Kim has been with the Group for nearly 20 years and has vast experience in POU design and development. Mr. Kim has been instrumental in the setting up of Waterlogic China after serving with Waterlogic Korea for more than 10 years. Mr. Kim now heads up all the Group’s R&D projects and teams.
Casey Taylor joined Waterlogic in September, 2012 as part of the acquisition of Taylor Made Water Systems. His commitment to customer service has been core to his leadership in creating and growing the Taylor Made Water Systems business since 1999 into the largest independent POU dealership on the West Coast. Casey was a practicing attorney before his leadership at TMWS and is active in the California Bar Association.
Greg Pritchett joined Angel Springs in April 2014 as Business Development Director (MD Designate). Prior to this, Greg spent 20 years within the office products sector, predominantly supporting the business-to-business channel, across commercial, procurement, merchandising and management disciplines as Merchandising Director for Corporate Express UK and Staples Advantage UK and Commercial Director, Spicers UK. Following the acquisition of Greenworks and PHS Waterlogic, and to support business growth and succession, Greg was promoted to Deputy Managing Director Waterlogic UK in October 2016 and is now Managing Director.
Prior to joining Waterlogic, Mr Junk had experience in the management consulting industry. Whilst with Waterlogic Mr Junk’s professional management of large accounts led to his promotion to MD of innowave in 2010.
Philippe Barnetche has significant commercial and management experience in finance leasing and IT systems integration organizations (including funding and growing a captive leasing subsidiary). Prior to joining the Group, Monsieur Barnetche gained an Executive MBA from INSEAD.
Kamen Dimov has been with the Group for nearly 10 years, initially in international sales in London, and latterly relocating to Germany, initially as sales and marketing manager, then rising to Joint Managing Director at Waterlogic Germany overseeing sales and marketing activities in Germany.
Mattias Källemyr had previous management experience with two organizations before joining the Group, in each focusing on the business-to-business market. With significant sales and management experience gained in the copier and printer and machinery industries, Mr. Källemyr joined the Group in 2009 to manage its Swedish operations which consists of two acquired businesses, Escowa AB (which is entirely focused on trade sales) and Aqua Service (a direct sales business with an extensive customer base mainly in the biggest cities in the country).
After leaving his father’s laundry equipment and services business, Wilhelm GmbH, Herr Wilhelm ran a water treatment equipment company, Höcker GmbH. Herr Wilhelm’s experience at Wilhelm GmbH led him to see an opportunity to market POU water dispensers to commercial laundries. After reviewing the market and several possible manufacturers, the most successful machine trials were with Waterlogic. Initially, Höcker GmbH was a distributor for Waterlogic products but, with both parties seeing the potential for growth, a joint venture, Waterlogic GmbH, was established in 2001 with Herr Wilhelm as the Managing Director. The German operation became a ‘best practice’ model for the emerging Group and Mr. Wilhelm was promoted to COO in 2010. Herr Wilhelm is a qualified mechanical engineer and a certified business economist.
Gerardo Álvarez has worked in the water cooler industry for nearly two decades during which time he was the managing director of Aguaviva, exclusive partner of Waterlogic in Spain and which was acquired by Waterlogic in 2017. Thanks to his experience and success, Gerardo has continued in his role as managing director for Waterlogic Spain since the acquisition.
