A few of the Angel staff got all glammed up last Saturday night to go to the Compton Hospice 'Final Furlong Ball'. The event was to help raise money for the refurbishment of their patient care facilities. With a live band, 3 course dinner and live auction, over £14,000 was raised on the night. Angel Springs the UK's leading water cooler provider donated a signed Wolves football shirt which raised £350 in the auction. Compton Hospice is a charity that provides the best palliative care to people with terminal and life threatening conditions. The hospice has been providing this support to its patients and their families for over 25 years. Rachel Jones Commercial Manager for Angel has commented, “Not only did we have a great night out but raising such a large amount of money for a great cause was the main objective. Because of the current economic climate charity giving is lower than usual so any way that Angel Springs can help is great. The Hospice is a very important place in the local community and needs constant help which I am always willing to get involved in. Compton must get to the target of £1,000,000 to achieve their aim so please help however you can.” Compton are still below the target of £1,000,000 required for the refurbishment so if you would like to donate you can text Compton to 70007 which will donate £3 for each text sent.
