Angel Springs support sanitisation engineer Dave James in his mission impossible!

Angel Springs the UK's fastest growing water cooler supplier are donating 450 bottles of water to a group of Volkswagen enthusiasts, who will be undergoing a ‘two wheel’ mission impossible to raise money for the brads cancer foundation charity. The Mission is to ride from John O Groats in Scotland to Lands End in Cornwall in 7 days on 50cc mopeds. Each day the blog will be updated with the progress of the mission by Angel Springs sanitisation engineer David James. Dave’s first post can be found below: Hello Angel Springs it’s your favourite water cooler sanitisation engineer here and welcome to my first blog post, covering my epic attempt to travel from John O Groats to Lands End, using only a 49cc moped. This journey has taken us a year to plan and I will be riding with over 50 other riders (under 50 cc only) and 20 support vehicles, covering almost 1000 miles in 7 days with a maximum speed of 30 mph. We will be stopping at predetermined campsites along the way, to fuel up, eat, and fix any problems and sleep. The idea is to raise money for brads cancer foundation, a charity set up to help teenagers with cancer, (find out more here http://www.brads.org.uk/) the whole journey will be a blast and I am going to keep you updated all the way using my iPad. (Although a connection in parts of Scotland will be a problem) so don’t panic if you don't hear from me for the first couple of days. Here are a few photos to get you in the mood including the route which is complicated as we cannot use motorways. I am leaving for John O Groats today to get to the top and we will be leaving for the south west on Saturday the 7th April, so wish me luck folks and I will send you updates soon.

    Dave James
